Singing Groups

This covers barbershop quartets, acapella groups, choral groups & choirs. Although, the artists in this section are able to play at any event, they tend to be a more specialised bunch.

Below are details of our singing groups. To choose male singer, female singers or singing duos please use the menu to the right.

Where available, there are audio clips, video clips & playlists.

The 40's & Vintage Belles

Available as a duo or trio singing 1940’s, vintage,  swing and wartime tunes, 50s rock & roll numbers, 60s hits, and musical theatre classics with a selection of 'new old-fashioned' songs thrown in for good measure! Our lovely Belle has many years of experience entertaining private parties, afternoon tea,  hotels and venues and  much larger corporate black tie events.

Look forward to popular hits from the likes of Doris Day, Connie Francis, Vera Lynn and the Andrews Sisters, to name just a few of the famous songstresses Beth takes inspiration from. Whatever the event you can be sure that it will be swinging.

The Travellers Barbershop Quartet

The Travellers are four friends who decided to take up Barbershop singing back in 2013. All members of The Telfordaires Barbershop Chorus, they got together to have fun, entertain & spread the ‘barbershop word’ to a variety of audiences.

They have moved on from their early impromptu performances at ‘open mic’ nights & deliverers of ‘doorstep valentines’, to appearing regularly appearing at weddings & corporate events, such as Terry Christian’s ‘Mad Manc Cabaret’ & at top venues including Celtic Manor.

The Travellers still strive to be the best they can & regularly enter Competitions. They were thrilled to qualify for the National Barbershop Quartet Finals in 2016, in Harrogate – Finishing in a magnificent 10th place.

Performances are typically a maximum of two sets of 30mins each, but can be tailored to suit your event. Our playlist features traditional barbershop harmonies, from ‘old favourites to more modern ‘pop classics’, but always something for everyone!
